Pickles Soft Fuzz

A different alpaca companion thread!

Brushed alpaca. Pickles Soft Fuzz is lightly spun by a single thread of alpaca and wool. This makes the yarn more lightweight than pure brushed alpaca. It also gives the yarn more resilience and strength. Therefore, garments knitted in Pickles Soft Fuzz keep their shape, are super soft and have a matte and exclusive finish. The garmnents might pill a little because of the thin and soft fibres. You can easily remove the pilling with your fingers, and the garment will be as good as new. The yarn works perfectly on 3 mm/US 3 needles for tightly knit garments, or up to 6 mm/US 10 needles for a more airy and brushed look. We also use this yarn as an alpaca companion thread to other yarn qualities. Pickles Soft Fuzz is nice to knit with, and it doesn't catch on the knitting needles.

We recommend hand washing garments in cold or luke warm water, but you can put it on a spin cycle afterwards (please make sure that you do not use a rinse cycle, only spin cycle) to extract water. Then lay the garment flat on the floor and stretch/block it in the shape you want. The garment will dry in a few hours.
